Government
Government support is a vital part of openhousenewyork. Generous contributions from national, state and local agencies enable OHNY to educate broad audiences about the history, diversity, entrepreneurship, and unparalleled economic and cultural infrastructure of New York City as captured and expressed in its architecture.
For the past eight years, OHNY has welcomed more than a million individuals of all ages from diverse social, economic and ethnic backgrounds to its year-round programs and its Annual Weekend.
"The Annual OHNY Weekend is one of the most valuable activities this city can offer its residents and visitors." Barry Lewis, architectural historian
