Constructed in the 19th century, Soho’s cast-iron buildings are a great backdrop for learning about architectural elements. At the end of the walking tour, kids will design their own building façades from the architectural elements seen on tour. Ages 7 - 12.

Join GVSHP educator Jane Cowan to explore Bleecker Street as it traverses the neighborhoods of Greenwich Village and NoHo. See how downtown transformed from farm to city, and how Bleecker Street's lofts, townhouses, tenements, churches, and cafes reflect a broad swath of the city's rural, immigrant, and bohemian history.

  Uncover Historic Richmond Town
