Rescuing Eldridge Street Artisans Roundtable
Wednesday, March 25

Join OHNY and the Museum at Eldridge Street for an insider's perspective on the award-winning restoration of the Eldridge Street Synagogue, a National Historic Landmark on Manhattan's Lower East Side. The "palatial Moorish synagogue has been under restoration for the better part of a generation, and the completion of the work is a genuine cause for celebration," according to architectural critic Paul Goldberger.

Museum Deputy Director Amy Milford will moderate a conversation with the artisans who worked on the restoration: Ray Clagnan of The Gil Studio (stained glass), Jeff Greene of Evergreene Studios (decorative paint), and Dawn Ladd of Aurora Lampwork (lighting).

The roundtable will begin at 6:30pm on Wednesday, March 25, followed by a question and answer session. Tickets may be purchased online or at the door.
