Architectural Transitions of Roosevelt Island

Guided tours describe the history and future of this 172-acre Island in the heart of New York Harbor. Tour the National Historic District, see the Victorian architecture of Nolan Park, visit two 1812-era forts, and learn about plans for the island’s redevelopment. Organized by the Governors Island Preservation & Education Corporation. Ferries leave on the hour from 10 - 2, and return every hour on the half hour from 10:30-3:30.

Gowanus Canal Canoe Tour

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult in the same canoe.
