Old Croton Aqueduct Walking Tour, Bronx

Bring water/lunch and wear comfortable walking shoes. Built between 1837 and 1842, the Old Croton Aqueduct was NYC's first source of plentiful and pure water. It used the same gravity-conveying principles as ancient Roman aqueducts. Saturday's tour follows its original path through the Bronx. Organized by Friends of the Old Croton Aqueduct.
