Tour the Wallabout neighborhood, which contains some of Brooklyn's oldest wood-frame houses, the last surviving New York home of Walt Whitman and a landscape of industrial and religious structures. In March 2011, 5 blocks of the Wallabout area were added to the New York State Register of Historic Places. The walk will be approx. 1.5 miles.
