The Judith and Burton Resnick Education Wing is home to many programs offered by the Weill Music Institute. With 24 new spaces dedicated to music education on the Lily and Edmond J. Safra Education Floors atop Carnegie Hall, the Resnick Education Wing is a professional development center for music educators and teaching artists, a space for New York City students and community members to learn from professional musicians, an inspirational location for Ensemble ACJW and other young musicians, and a home for public master classes and interactive concerts.

The stunning, double-height Weill Music Room is at the heart of the Resnick Education Wing and welcomes visitors during OHNY Weekend to take part in a variety of music education activities, including free Carnegie Kids performances, master classes with major artists, student rehearsals, and Music Educators Workshops.

Adjacent to the Resnick Education Wing is a new outdoor roof terrace-a feature first envisioned in 1892 by the building's original architect, re-imagined for the 21st century-that serves as a gathering place for those engaged in Carnegie Hall events and activities.

For Kids: Families can participate in songwriting workshops, turn everyday objects into musical instruments in a digital sound playground, join in on sing-alongs, and build instruments and play them in an ensemble. There will also be opportunities to take in professional performances in the marvelous Weill Music Room. The program is recommended for families with children ages 3-10.
