Immerse yourself in a day in the life of a Googler at the company's New York Office at 111 Eighth Avenue. See firsthand the highly creative spaces that power a work culture that fosters collaboration, innovation, and opportunities for play.
See where Googlers experience "casual collision," or impromptu conversations, with people in different departments, as well as how they use a variety of work environments to collaborate and innovate. Behind the inventive design solutions (to be viewed during this tour) is always the question, "What types of spaces spur innovation?"
Visitors participating in the "Google Design & Workplace Tour" will experience Micro-Kitchens, cafés, a game room, and Google workspaces with design features that support innovation. They will ride on one of the building's original truck elevators and walk down "Stair J" which features a one-of-a-kind, fiber-optic light sculpture.
In 2006, HLW International began its partnership with Google, helping to transform 111 Eighth Avenue. Alterations and upgrades to the Google workplace and building infrastructure continue to this day, including helping Google achieve its sustainability goals.
OpenDialogue tours with architects from HLW International and Google will take place on both days of OHNY Weekend. Tours will be approximately 45 minutes long.
