Center for Italian Modern Art
10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Griffith Thomas, 1873; Renovation, Irina Verona, 2013

The Center for Italian Modern Art, a young nonprofit dedicated to promoting new scholarship and conversation around 20th-century Italian art, occupies a 4th-floor loft in an 1873 cast-iron building by Griffith Thomas-today part of SoHo's cast-iron historic district. Sensitively renovated by IVARCH / Irina Verona Architecture PLLC in 2013, the space features many modern Italian furnishings and finishes. Architect Irina Verona will be on site for much of the day to discuss the transformation of a historic loft into a multi-use space.

Saturday Tour Info: OpenDialogue tours with architect Irina Verona will take place at 11am and 1pm. Tours with CIMA Fellows will take place at 3 and 4:30pm.
