Ty Trippet works in corporate communications at Bloomberg LP where he serves as spokesperson for the global financial technology, data and media company.

Before joining Bloomberg in 2010, Ty worked as a communications executive at media companies including Reuters and Time magazine. He started his career in the political and government arenas, working as a legislative aide in the United States Senate and staffed two presidential campaigns. He’s also served in the nonprofit sector as a communications specialist at the Open Society Institute and the American Foundation for AIDS Research.

Originally from Oklahoma, Ty is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and currently lives amidst the thriving arts and culture scene of Bushwick, Brooklyn.
